yikes: level meters suddenly disasppeared
I have a creative CT4810 PCI sound card in my PC with Vista Home Premium. The sound card appears in the device manager as Creative
(ES1371,ES1373) WDM. The driver date is 18/6/2002, v5.2.3633.0. When I first installed it I was very pleased to see that Vista had finally included recording level meters in the windows mixer, but now the level meters have disappeared. I don't know exactly when they disappeared but I've being going around in circles trying to find how to get them back but I can't see anything anywhere. Could a Windows Update have made this happen? How do I get the level meters back? |
