DVD Decoder for Windows Vista
I don't think you need one. Comes pre-installed.

Does anyone know of a DVD decoder that works with Windows Vista? There appears to be one native to Vista, as Windows Media Player handles DVDs here without incident. |

DVD Decoder for Windows Vista
I have Vista home basic and it does not come with a decoder. I downloaded a
product that checks my computer for the decoder and it says there is not one on my computer. Kathy "Paul Smith" wrote: "dev" wrote in message ... DVD Decoder for Windows Vista
I have the same problem with my vista home basic, so I downloaded vista codec
4.2.9 free at www.free-codecs.com which installed ok (when 4.2.8 last week didn't), but trying now to play a DVD with this and media player 11, it says that I should try reducing screen resolution and color from 32-bit to 16. But still it will not do it! (but perhaps this is geting close!) LEJ "JW" wrote: Is this the product you downloaded? "Kathy" wrote in message ...
