I have a desktop running XP and a wireless laptop I would like to network but I can't get them to see each other? Any tips or tricks? Thanks in advance Since you haven't told us what you've already done, I can't address that. Review the information at this link: File/Printer Sharing Vista - http://www.microsoft.com/technet/net.../vista_fp.mspx A few key things to check: 1. As always, make sure you only have one firewall running on each machine and that it is properly configured to allow the LAN as trusted. 2. Make sure you've told Vista this is a private network.
