Catalyst 7.2 keep crashing Vista (ATI X1300)
Hi,
I just installed Catalyst 7.2 and it keep crashing Vista when it tries to use the 3D feature.. like 1) Enabling Aero 2) Running perfomance test (for rating) 3) Displaying images using Vista built-in app Each time I get the bluescreen death screen, the cause is by atikmdag.sys Any idea on solving this? Thanks. |

I think that this driver is a step in the wrong direction. My performance
sore when down after installing this driver and aero doesn't work as well as it used to either. Catalyst 7.2 keep crashing Vista (ATI X1300)
Greetings;
I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit on a Asus A8N-SLI Premium Main Board. I tried to install an ATI TV Wonder Card with the Catalist Program. The Ati card prevented the computer from booting. The boot cycle repeated endlessly. I tried the card in all three PCI slots with no results at all. I also have an computer with all the same hard ware and Windows Vista Ultimate 64 built on the same Asus Main Board except this is the A8N-SLI Deluxe and the ATI card works just fine. However, I would recomend you use the newest SnapStream Beyond TV program as the picture is much clearer and sharper than with the Catalist or Windows options.
