I'm running Vista Ultimate currently. I have 3 computers on my network, a
2003 server and two Vista machines. I have purchased an HP printer that I have networked and have on a static IP. This printer has a memory card reader for reading different types of flash memory devices. I am not able to access \\printer\memory_card from the vista machines. I get a message about the device not being available. However, my server (windows 2003) can access it without a problem. I can ping the device as well as print to the printer without an issue. I just have a problem when I try go into the "memory_card" directory. Upon searching for this issue, I've seen others have had it but have yet to see a solution. Thanks for any help that can be provided. |
