I made a backup of my system disk (C:\) to my data disk (F:\). The data disk
is a hardware RAID5 with a highpoint 2310 RAID controller. The C disk is a RAID0 from an onboard nForce raidcontroller. I tried using F8 while booting but the option to restore the C disk was not available. Also booting from the Windows DVD did not succeed because there was no restore option available. I think the problem is that the Highpoint RAID5 controller drivers are not available while booting. Is there perhaps still a way to restore the backup? |
