If you go to C:\Users\Public, there are a default set of folders in there
called Desktop, Public Documents, Public Music, Public Pictures, and Public Videos. They are there so you can organize your shared files into them. But I don't want them in there. I just put my shared stuff into C:\Users\Public directly. When I delete all of those folders, they keep on recreating themselves after a restart. Is there a way to stop Windows creating these folders in my Public folder? Windows XP does the same thing and keeps recreating those folders. I just want an empty Shared/Public Folder without it creating these organizing folders. |
