Running pretty fast system e6600 oc'd to 3.6, 4gb pc8500, 10k raptor raid
boot drive, 8800gts, vista64 Problem is I have a VERY large music collection and it still takes media center forever to load, talking minutes here, not seconds. Purchased a 4gb sandisk cruzer u3, installed and chose readyboost. Rebooted, then opened and closed media center probably 2 dozen times. Load time for music didn't change after first time, still very slow. question: Is there anyway to 'cache' my music database from media player onto my readyboost manually? If not.... what's a guy to do? any other ideas on how to speed things up just for mediacenter load? |
