Anyone know what is now going on at HP. There don't appear to be any drivers
or advice for drivers for my 7960 printer for Vista now.

Hp has a web page about using alternate drivers until they have written them
for Vista.

Have the same printer and have been looking for their driver since Vista's
release. One would have thought HP would have had a driver ready for this
O.S. but I guess HP is a lot smarter than I am. By the way, when you want to
add the HP, choose Deskjet 5600. It seems to do OK. When it comes to naming
the printer just name it HP 7960. And wait, wait, wait, for HP to catch up.
