My IT Manager says that there is not a version of Vista that has a permenate
CAL. He says that you will have to buy a license. He recommends installing Win2000 on the laptop that I am about to buy. I, however, believe(hope) that either Professional or Ultimate will provide the permenant CAL. I do not want a seven year old OS on my new laptop. Would someone please give some clarity to this issue. Thanks "Dave Slaunwhite" wrote: I am runnung windows 2000 server and logging in with remote desktop thru terminal sevices.
