My network fails to reconnect after vista wakes from sleep mode. I have to
repair the network in order to fix the problem. I have a Nvidia nForce 4 Ulta motherboard with the latest drivers. Is there a fix for this yet? |

I found that if you disable the "Allow computer to disable this device to save power" option in the Power Manage tab in your network card's device settings, this keeps the problem from happening. Let me know if this helps. |

First I disabled the option you describe and it made no difference. Then I
installed the lastest drivers and that made no difference. Then I called Microsoft and they told me to re-enable the "Allow computer to disable this device to save power" option . I did and together with the new drivers it now works perfectly. " wrote: On Mar 3, 9:04 am, Paul wrote: Mynetworkfails to reconnect aftervistawakes fromsleepmode.
