Default WD Raptor Locks Up

At various different times my WD Raptor will lock up for appx 1 minute and
then continue on what I was doing. It is erractic as it will do it at
different times i.e. checking email, surfing the net or an application on the
computer. This is a new hard drive with Vista Pre installed. Any ideas?

Bad drive. I just put together a new VISTA system with a Raptor 150 gig
and had no problems.

I have similar problems. Mine freezes for 8-10 seconds though. I seen another
post from a guy w/ a similar issue at a different forum.

FWIW, I've seen the same when my WD Raptor drives are enabled. I
disabled them for the moment (In the BIOS) and my system has been stable
since then.

I'm just curious if any of you have reported your issues to Western Digital?
