for anyone looking for a backup solution for a Vista PC I'd recommend Acronis TrueImage Home 10. It's good software and it will
make a boot CD for you, which will even work with external USB hard drives. The interface looks just like Windows XP and after wrestling with Norton Ghost floppies for years this program for me is a breath of fresh air and very cheap for the backup power you get. What I particularly like is the program allows you to make notes that are kept in the backup file, so when you come to do a restore, your original notes are all there. I'm not in any way connected to Acronis and I'm not on any commisission, just very glad to have found such a good backup solution. |
