Default Display crash

I just installed Vista Ultimate. But when I turn off media center, my screen
becomes green and blue-ish with lots of flickering and coloured stripes. The
same thing happened when I tried to put the PC into sleep mode. The only
solution is to restart the PC, and even then I don't get any error messages
by Windows. My best guess is that this is due to a driver problem. I have a
nVidia 7900 GT graphics card and HP f2304 23" monitor. I have tried updating
all the drivers though.

Hope you guys can help.
