Default Windows Vista Upgrade

I am about ready to upgrade to vista, i would like either home premium or
ultimate.

My computer can't run Windows Aero, so does that mean that i wont have glass
windows or start menu?

if your computer will not even run aero.
there will probably be other problems with vista.
sounds like you need to upgrade your computer first.
