connect to network on start menu open very slow on P4 2.8gh HT PC

Default connect to network on start menu open very slow on P4 2.8gh HT PC

The first time I select connect to on the start menu it take like 5-6 second
or more for Connect to network to open. the network icon on the taskbar is
very slow too when accessing it at first. I have P4 2.8ghz HT and 1.5gb
memory. anyone else having the same issue on the same processor or P4 HT
processor

yes, I have the same issue, sometimes when I click the icon on the system
tray in order to connect to Internet, the connect window is not shown and
I've to wait or click multiple times.

Even on a Dual Core 2GHz +2GB , this happens....

it's not a performance issue, but it's a small bug

I have the same problem on Windows Vista Business after an upgrade from
Windows XP Professional - did you upgrade?

Mine takes over 5 minutes for it to open though!!

No fix found yet, don't have the problem in Home Premium here at home though
