Hello
I have a new laptop which runs windows vista home premium. It comes with Windows mail. I am currently using hotmail as my email account to send and receive email. Can someone teach me how to setup an account in Windows mail? I would like to keep using hotmail as my primary emailing account. Thanks. |

If you want to use an email address provided by your ISP, you can do that. Your ISP will have a "walkthrough" for setting up common email clients on its website. Use the instructions for Outlook Express for Windows Mail. Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" MS-MVP Windows - Shell/User |

Outlook allows Hotmail accounts. Why wouldn't Vista Mail? Here's directions
for Outlook--should be a similar process for Vista Mail. "Malke" wrote: Ebanzister wrote: Hello I have a new laptop which runs windows vista home premium. It comes with Windows mail. When you attempt to set up a http account (the New account options are the
same as XP) you get a page that leads to a page that leads to a page thet tries to make you sign up to a unrelated product to Vista (something called Windows Live - this is immoral - if they made it mandatory, rather than tricking people, it would be illegal under Australian law). Now Winmail is OE V7 (though it's version is 1 as a program and 6, as vista is Win NT 6, as its official ver number). "JGilson" wrote in message ... Outlook allows Hotmail accounts.
