I bought this computer less than a week ago.
I can get mail through Comcast and Yahoo.
But something is wrong with when I try windows mail (outlook express)
I am using Comcast as ISP but would prefer mail through windows.
Any suggestions for internet connections?
Thanks
Ron

You get your Comcast mail from the Comcast mail servers. It's up to you
whether you read it online at Comcast's website or download the mail
into an email client like Windows Mail.

If you want to use Windows Mail with your Comcast email, go to Comcast's
website and there are instructions how to set up Outlook Express for
their servers. Follow those instructions.

I don't believe you can use Windows Mail with Yahoo mail without a
third-party program. Google for "get Yahoo mail in Outlook Express".

Other than the fact that you told us it doesn't work, you have told us
NOTHING to enable us to assist you.

How does it not work? Any error messages? Do you know how to setup your
email account in Windows Mail?

Have you called your ISP for assistance? What did they say?

You need to set up your Comcast mail account in Windows Mail. Try Tools |
Accounts | Add | Mail and then specify the parameters such as server names
and username and password. If you have questions on how to do this, then
check the comcast website and check for the instructions for OE, which will
be the same for WinMail.
