Default Vista Ultimate Backup & Restore

I use a USB external hard drive to backup my laptop. I did a windows
complete pc backup on 2/13, not knowing what I was doing. I then proceeded
to restore one file and learned that I had done the wrong backup. I then
deleted my current backup folder on the external hard drive. Now, how do I
clear out the last backup history date so that Vista knows I no long have
those backup files?

many thanks
Russ

We keep the last backup date in the registry for display purposes. You can
ignore the text (not the best answer, but it won't hurt any future backups).

It is a good idea to do a Complete PC Backup in case you ever need to
rebuild your computer. I would suggest that you create another one and then
hold onto it.
