Default Media Center won't run with Aero turned on.

Hi. I've got Vista Home Premium 32bit. My system is a S478 P4 3.4 Ghz, Asus
P4S800E-Deluxe with SiS chipset. Theres 2GB RAM and 3 SATA HDDs . Theres a
ATI Radeon X700 AGP graphics card with the latest 7.2 driver from ATI/AMD
site. All ran well with XP for 2 years also. I have Vista for about 3 weeks
now. Its had no troubles, I have either Microsoft drivers running stuff fine,
or got Vista drivers for stuff and no problems for weeks. The computer is
very fast and I spent years upgrading to a system that I liked, and then the
dual-cores came out, etc! But this is a great system for me, by no means slow
or anything.
The system runs perfectly with Aero turned on and I can do any number of
things flawlessly, but as soon as I try Media Center all it starts is a blank
dark grey screen, like a black screen with light shining through from behind,
effect. The entire system is locked, can't CTRL-ALT-DEL, no mouse or
anything. I have waited ages a few times, I have to reset it to reboot.

Thing is that I can turn Aero off and can run Media Center perfectly fine! I
don't watch any TV and its not connected for TV or recording, I just wanted
to look at it at least, I set it up for my photos and any video on my hard
drives.

I have searched high and low for any insight to this. I can only assume it
will be sorted out with updates and new drivers as soon as enough people have
a problem.

Can anyone tell me anything more about this?

Thanks.
Neil
