Default Shadow copy remains after deleting???

Hi,

I have been having a weird problem. I installed Vista Bussiness edition a
few weeks back, and had to reinstall it due to software issues. I have two
partitions on one harddrive, C and D. I usually backup all my documents etc.
on the D drive. I also keep a complete windows backup on the D Drive.

When I reinstalled Vista, I noticed that the system tells me that I have
used 14GB of my D Drive... but my actual usage is 7GB. I don't know if this
is because the previous install kept shadow copies? I did go to D and clean
up, even used the "remove shadow copy", but still it's 14GB used, where
reality only 7GB is in use... can anyone help me with this problem?

Thanks!
Ke
