Why does my computer keep locking up? I have to turn it off, then restart in
"last known good configuration". This happens every so often, but this morning I lost a boatload of work I had input into a spread sheet. HELP ME PLEASE! What can I do to stop this? |

What hardware do you have, what processes are running. What anti
virus/firewall do you have on your system. What (if any) error messages do you have in the event viewer. NIK "MeasureMe" wrote in message ... Ok. I am running Windows Vista on a Dell Inspiron 1501.
