Default Edit Vista Program Sounds

When I go into program sounds to change the wave file that plays during an
event, I am unable to select a new sound. Normally, I can select a new sound,
but that is no longer avalable to me. I have to use regedit. How do I restore
this feature in sounds?

What happens when you try to change the sound for an event? I just tried it
and both the drop-down button and the Browse button work. I didn't do
anything to restore the feature.

Thanks for the quick response.

The sound portion in the dialogue box is grayed out. Normally, the sound
line shows the current wave file for the event. Now it is missing.
