try to rollback sound driver..... see if that work

If it's a SoundMax onboard sound card, then it's normal right now. Still
waiting for updated drivers... I'm in the same boat with my Asus P5P800 with onboard sound. I had soundmax onboard with same problem. I have installed a SoundBlaster
x-if and have almost the same problem. Current state of audio in Vista appears to be very flaky. "Dustin Harper" wrote in message ...
