Default Master Browser Conflict

I networked a vista ultimate unit with an XP prof. unit satisfactorily and
both saw each other. After rebooting the connection was lost, after a while
it was regained. This happens frequently. I checked the error log in vista
and there were several instances of the following entry: Event ID 8033.
The browser has forced an election on network\Device\NET
BT_Tcpip-{F899cc1b-4166-4D42-9859-10238359 F6D9}because a master browser has
stopped. Should one unit be set as a master browser? I submitted this
yesterday and it didn't show-up,pardon me for the duplication.
