Default Vista ready printers

I have a Canon F80.When I did the upgrade advisor it said I would have no
problems with it. There are no drivers on Canon's site for this printer for
Vista. It is also USB and when I go into the Add Printer I don't have a
selection for a usb port. Vista recognized it as a printer and it shows up in
the device manager under other devices. Any ideas???

If you install the Photosmart 7150 as a Deskjet 990c it will work with
Vista. In the 'Add a Printer' dialogue, choose HP and 990c

Default Vista ready printers

I have a Canon i860 which is several years old.

When I plugged it in after installing Vista Ultimate, a window popped up
concerning the printer, two clicks and the drivers were installed and the
printer was working.

Really easy and I didn't have to visit the Canon website because the Drivers
are built into the OS.
