Default Criteria for Windows Experience Benchmark.

Hello,

I am running the following specs:

AMD X2 3800
3gb Corsair XMS Dual Channel Ram
eVGA 7800 GT graphics card.
Abit KN8 SLI "Fatality" motherboard

I am curious to know what these numbers in the WE are based on. Comparing
my PC vs that of a friends, I have 3gb of dual channel, he has 2gb, he has a
higher WE score on his PC. Both of us have the same brand of memory. So I
guess my real question, what factors is the rating based on, specifically for
memory. Also, i've heard rumors that its slanted to Intel, as my friend has
a Core 2 Duo based system, I could see this as a possibilty.

Thank you way in advance for any responses.

I'll make it simple

His memory is DDR2
Yours is DDR
He is running Dual Channel 2x1gb
You are running either Single Channel 3x1gb or Dual Channel which doesn't
work as well 2x1gb + 2x512mb

He has more memory bandwidth
