Default Apple Laserwriter Select w/vista

I have an apple laserwriter select 300. The problem is vista doesn't
support this printer or from microsoft's printer compatibility page
that any apple printer is supported.

Through pulling my hair out I have found where my obstacle is:
As a work around I currently have the printer connected to a windows
xp machine and I share the documents from my vista machine to print.
The driver used by xp is PSCRIPT.NFT, which isn't a standard .inf file
for almost all other printers. Windows Vista, when browsing for
drivers will only look for .inf files. There is almost no information
on PSCRIPT. Since there are major changes in vista with software
architecture I am not sure that this will ever work connected to my
vista machine.

A possible solution that I don't how or if it is possible to do, is to
print to printer that is on another computer without installing the
printer on the computer you are printing from? When you choose to
print the document is sent to the other computer and printed from
there?
