Default Windows Media Player shows all music files twice

Everytime I download any music files into Windows Media Player, they show
twice when I display the library. How do I get rid of the duplicate entries
and how do I prevent this from happening in the future? I am running Vista
Ultimate.

Thanks

Actually, I don't think this is Vista's problem, it is Media-Player's
problem. I had the same thing happen to me with Windows-XP after I loaded the
latest version of Media-Player. I never did find the answer, but perhaps you
should post this question under the "Music, Pictures & Video" section of
these discussion groups.
