I came across what may be a bug in Vista today. Has anyone
had their Aero Theme go away on restarts? I set mine to Aero and it loads and works fine. All of a sudden, the display gets kinda funky along the taskbar, the quicklaunch will move under the start button and clicking on buttons stops working, and then the display changes to the Windows Standard Theme. Dell updated my display adaptor but it still does the same thing. My card is the highest sold, so I know its compatible. Dell saw it happen when they took control of my computer. They are reporting it to MS. |

Larry,
I've had the same issue since i started using Vista. I have the 32-bit version of Vista Ultimate. As far as i know, they don't have a fix for it at the moment. I've been searching the internet for the last 2 weeks and haven't found a solution yet. Anyone out there find one? Kevin "Larry" wrote: I came across what may be a bug in Vista today. got Quicktime? That supposedly has been the source of some Aero issues, I've read in newsgroups. "Larry" wrote in message ... I came across what may be a bug in Vista today. I too have the SAME problem ... I've seen it's a Java related problem. I dn't
have Quicktime on this machine yet (haven't needed, but I will down the road). I think it's a known bug to MS. "DP" wrote: got Quicktime?
