Alright I am running a windows xp professional on my base computer and I've
got it connected to the wireless router via CAT-5 and I have an internet connection. And now I've recently purchased a laptop with a wireless network card for the link sys 2.4 GHz router and for whatever reason I cannot connect to the network on my laptop. All the software is installed on the laptop for the router, and I cannot connect. |

Are you able to see the wireless network when viewing the networks?

A friend of mine had a similar problem, he had to access the wireless router
settings via the the LAN connection in order to setup the wireless. Have you tried that from your desktop? "OsirusFire" wrote in message ...
