I would like to run 3 screens on my new Vista Home Premium computer. There
is one PCIe connector and three PCI connectors on this computer. There is
an onboard Nvidia VGA output which does not seem to work when a PCIe card is
in the system. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Have you checked your BIOS to see what video options you have relative to
the onboard and other graphics "cards"

I have looked at the BIOS. Under Primary Display Adaptors there are three
choices: Onboard, PCI-E and PCI. They seem to be mutually exclusive. If I
chose PCI-E option the onboard adaptor does not work and an installed PCI-E
adaptor begins to function.

It is a shame that it works the way you say. It makes sense that only one
display adapter can be the primary one but it is suprising that no other
adapter can be a secondary adapter as long as a display is connected to it.

I have solved the problem by using two nVidia GeForce FX 5200 PCI 2 head 256
MB graphic cards. Since theey are both in the PCI bus the computer and
operating system seem to be able recognize both at the same time.
