well some time I use word to make documents like stuff to do, to upload, or
to transfer to flash drive and I want to save it some where I and friend can see I with out internet. So I use a wireless ad-hoc network so me and my friends are both connected. You can do it the way you've done it already, or you can have another (3rd)
