Might be of some help to people building new computers that will run Vista as to how particular subsystems perform (in the world according to Vista anyway). Bob |

It's a P4 3.4, right? That's a good score for it, being a single core and
all. I have a P4 3.4 and get a 4.2. Your other scores are pretty high, actual some are really high! That's really good, and you wouldn't notice much of a score increase by overclocking, I went from a 4.2 to a SUPRISE 4.2 after overclocking from 3.0 to 3.4. A dual core would be a better upgrade (Core2Duo or Athlon 64 X2). -- Dustin Harper http://www.vistarip.com -- "TechnoHic" wrote in message ... However as faster hardware is released so the number will increase. -- Paul Smith, Yeovil, UK. Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User. http://www.windowsresource.net/ *Remove nospam. to reply by e-mail* |

I must be behind times already. I haven't heard of a 4.4 cpu.
Darn it!!! and I thought I was keeping up on things. -- Carl G "Dustin Harper" wrote in message ... It's a P4 3.4, right? That's a good score for it, being a single core and all. Actually, despite my previous smartass response, the Processor score isn't all that great. I'm scoring a 4.8 on my 2GB Athlon 64 X2, I'd have expected the latest and greatest Intel chip would at least match my two+ year old CPU. That being said, the score isn't really useful for much, what is more important is how your system performs for your needs. -- Insert something clever here. |
