I have just put vista onto my daughters latop and have a problem with the
wireles driver. The laptop is an e-system 3086 and everything is working brilliantly except the wireless adaptor. I cannot instll the driver I get the following error messge. The driver for this device are not installed (code 28) the name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name. I can use a wired connection without a problem but my daughter needs the wireless connection so that she can use MSN in her bedroom. I should be able to sort this myself but not sure what I need to do Thanks -- Barney Always looking for help in order to help others. |

Contact the manufacturer of your daughter's wireless card (or the laptop
company). They may have a new driver that is Vista compatible. If not, you may need to buy a new wireless card that is compatible. Good luck. "barney boy" wrote in message ...
