Default Energy Management

Using Vista HP x64.
Energy management was working just fine.
I do have wireless keyboard and mouse from MS but I don't know if this is
the problem or not. I do have all the lastest drivers installed. I don't know
if screensaver was working after installing the wireless key and mouse, I
didn't pay it much attention to this function after the install.
I've looked on the net for solutions but none can be found. Any references
to activating screensaver and energy management would be very nice.
Thanks,
Larry

I found my own solution. There was an update but it was deemed not important
so I never installed it. It was called update KB932246. Anyways I'm up and
working now.

What problem? You don't don't say. You enable the screensaver the same as
always. Right click on the desktop, personalize, screensaver. Power options
in control panel has the energy saving settings arranged in Themes. Pick one,
then change Advanced Settings to cusomize. Look up Power Management in Help.

That wasn't the problem of not setting the parameters, Mary, thanks anyways.
There was an update that was missing. Once installed everything worked fine.
