I have a Vista Notebook configured with a Workgroup.
I connect to a 2003 server (Active Directory & domain) either with wireless or cable. It always gets the error that it cannot contact the DHCP server and times out when I try to have IP assigned automatically. If I enter values in the Alternate screen everything connects fine. This always worked OK with my XP notebook which I sadly had to retire. -- Thanks, Uwe |
