I have three machines, two XP and one Vista; networking is set up w/file
sharing, and all works fine, EXCEPT... The Vista machine will see one machine, 3 HDD's, all drives are IDE PATA, and another machine, 2 HDD's IDE PATA, but not its HDD SATA. The XP machines will see two of three HDD's on the Vista machine, two IDE PATA, but not the HDD SATA. Bottome line...I cannot see SATA drives on the network, only the IDE PATA's. All drives are functioning properly from within their own computer. The two computers with SATA drives (one XP and one Vista) have Intel motherboards, with SATA connections integral to the motherboard, ie, no add-ons, etc. Any ideas?? John |
