Default Vista Premium Update errors

Packard Bell 2380 with Vista Premium 10 dfays old.

The following will not work......
PBUpdator.exe
iupdator.exe
SMP Sys.exe
plus a couple of others
I now get the message that "name" has stopped working ...Windows will inform
when there is a solution.

This happened for the first time about 5 days ago.
Is this critical or will I have to run the Recovery Disc I made when I got
the Comp. but run it in Partial Mode...will it restore these files.

Can't do any updates at the moment Darn it.

Hi,

They aren't necessary, but as the system is only 10 days old I would be
concerned as to why PB's software has stopped working. It may be due to
conflicts with something you installed, but it may also be due to a hardware
failure or faulty ram. This is why you get a warranty, you should use it.
