Hello,
Lately Windows Vista Event Viewer started logging DHCP IP request denied for IP address (My Linksys router) ISP Charter and I'm on Cable Modem SB5100 router BEFSR41 v3 and I got built in Intel intergated Nic and IP Lease failed to renew tc/ip stack errors it's a mess and I have no Idea how to reset it or fix this. -- MikroXP, Beta Testing Fool & New Stuff Addict |

You should try the usual reset if your setup worked before. Turn off the
computer, turn off the router by unplugging the power, then unplug the modem. Reset: First plug in the modem, wait until the lights are all blinking happily, then plug in the router and wait 2 minutes to establish communication with the modem, then turn the computer on. If this setup never worked, you have an error in the configuration. Check your router's home page for incorrect settings.
