Before i installed Vista ultimate my pc always connected to the internet fine
with windows XP. Now that ive upgraded to vista i am no longer able to connect to the internet. It says im missing a driver for my network controller. As far as i knew before upgrading i didnt even have a network controller. I was wondering if there was a generic driver out there that would solve my problems or if i have to find out exactly what kind i have and if so how do i go abouts doing this. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Hello Dave.Lyle,
Check your hardware documentation to find out the NIC information. Or go to the laptop vendor website and check for drivers compatible with Vista. Even if you don't realizied it under XP, theire was still a driver in use. What kind of hardware did you use?
