Network icon vanished from system tray
The following steps worked for me Delete the 2 keys as per the screenshot [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \TrayNotify] [image: http://www.colincochrane.com/image.a...ry-values.JPG] End and start the Explorer.exe again. ;251004 Wrote: This is a recurring problem for me. Both the network and volume icons are grayed out in the notification area options Properties for the Task Bar Notification Area. Rebooting does not fix it. There must be something more going on here.
