Hi m8, just install this driver and you'll be ok, its similiar with the
Vista embeded driver but more stable and
more resources.

Tested in Vista with FX5200, FX5500 and FX5900.
Tested games: Supremme Commander, Stalker, Titan Quest etc...

Sry, i made a mistake, the tested driver was version 97.34, he

You mention monitor drivers which is not really relevant for the video
card.
I have that card and it works well with Vista native drivers.

My guess is your card is bad or improperly seated.

These drivers are esentially the same ones that are on the Vista DVD and are
what you should be using for a 5xxx card.

The drivers on the DVD are the 96.86 drivers and I have not seen any
descriaption of what the difference is if any? Also see the following:
