Did you check for updated drivers for all your hardware before you installed
Vista? Did you check for updates for all your software before you installed
Vista?

For possible clues to the source of the issue, check event viewer under
Administrative tools on the Start menu. Check the applications and system
tab, look for red warnings, double click, some of these errors may give clue
as to the source of the issue.

Something has to cause it to crash, it doesn't do that on its own. There is
something on your system that is conflicting. Some error messages might
simply make referece to Explorer or IExplorer but you might just find
something in the application tab I mentioned.

Also, while you may have updated, some drivers are still in beta, other's
are only providing basic functionality and might cause the system to crash
or otherwise become unstable if calls are made at a website to invoke
something outside of the current functionality of those drivers.

It might also help if we had some idea of your hardware configuration and
software installed, what versions, etc.

So, apparently, you upgraded this machine to Vista; why? As near as I can
tell, this system has 64MB of shared ram. Aside from the fact, the Sempron
is a budget and underpowered processor, the system is likely choking on the
lack of graphics memory. You're best bet is to go back to XP because you're
never going to be satisfied with the way Vista runs on this computer.

Let's face it, Gates is getting older. He needs the money for retirement
and funeral arrangements.
Sooner or later his kids will need Porche Turbo's and tuition for private
schools.
