I just bought a Toshiba Laptop and it is running VISTA!! I love it by the
way. My office computer is running XP. I have my Network up and running but my laptop does not want to let me into my file and folders on my office desktop. I can view my brothers computer which is also on my network. I got my laptop to recognize my office computer about 1 hour ago. I somehow fixed that but when I double click on it, it gives me an error and says access is denied!! I did some trouble shooting and found that if you change all the computers to the same workgroup name it will run better and faster but that did not fix anything. Hope I can get some help here. Thanks!!! Chris |
