can't disable password protected sharing
I am unable to turn off password protected sharing.
Vista Business UAC off Administrator account Private network. Clicking the "turn off password protected sharing" does nothing. Green "on" radio button never goes away. tried in safe mode, no difference. Help?!

This could be any one of 3 things in my opinion:
1. Bad network cable. 2. NIC that is going bad. 3. Router that is going bad. Just some thoughts, but definitely some things you might want to investigate. "KDE" wrote in message ...
