I have a Dell XPS 410. It orignally came with Windows XP Media Center. Since
I ordered the computer in 2007 I was eligible to updagrade to Vista. I have updated to Windows Vista Home Premium. In File Explorer on a local drive, when I do an Organize | New Folder command, the new folder appears immediately with the name already highlighted. I have a NAS device on my network. In File Explorer, when I do an Organize | New Folder command on a the NAS device, the new folder does not immediately appear. I have to press F5 to refresh the window, then find and select the new folder, then press F2 to rename it. I want File Explorer to work on a network drive the same way it does on a local drive. Thanks. |
