Default vista reading a storage HD that is 32 bit

I am installing Vista 64 bit on my system. I have a 2nd HD I use for storage.
After installing Vista, will it be able to read this 2nd (32 bit) HD or will
I need to format the 2nd drive also??? If so, how can I save the info on the
2nd drive??

Number of bit in the OS has nothing to do with the filesystem on your
harddrive. So no need to format anything

Hi,

The operating system's 64-bit nature refers to the size of data chunks it
can handle. This has nothing to do with the file system on the drives. As
long as the drive is formatted FAT, FAT32, or NTFS it will read the data on
it just fine without formatting or making any other adjustments.
