Does Vista support Parallel Printing?

I'm not sure what you mean by "parallel printing".

Do you mean printing to a parallel port? If so the answer is "yes". If
you mean printing to more that one printer at a time? Also, yes with the
proviso that the jobs are independently initiated.

To print the same job to two devices calls for some 'fiddling'.

If you are referring to a parallel port printer, then yes it does. I used a
HP LaserJet 4000 series on Vista. Drivers were built in (10+ year old
printer supported out of the box, yet a one/two year old one still doesn't
have Vista drivers?!).

Yes but with the following proviso.... you still need the correct drivers.
If you are lucky, they are either built into Vista or on the printer
manufacturer's websites. If not, you're out of luck.
