Scenario:
- A machine (xp pro, 2000 pro) that has a simple "test.exe" vb6 program (it doesn't do anything, contains only a form) in the "program files" folder (shared) and in the "foo" folder (another folder, shared too). The two network paths a \\server\program files\test.exe and \\server\foo\test.exe - A machine with Vista Business. If on this machine i go in "Start / Run" and call "\\server\program files\test.exe", then i must wait 13 seconds before the "test.exe" form appears. If i call "test.exe" using \\server\foo\test.exe (note that it points to another folder) then the calling is immediate. I know that Vista makes some special treatment for the "Program files" folder, but also on "Program files" folder residents on other non-Vista machines? |

I want to add that the operating systems are in Italian. |
